Danza grabada y danza en directo

Usualmente hago entradas sobre danza y música y os hablo de diferentes temas. hoy no voy a hacer eso. Voy a cambiar el enfoque. Voy a mostraros dos vídeos: misma canción, misma artista, diferente escenario.

I usually do podcasts about dance and music and I talk to you about different issues. Today I'm not doing that. I'm going to change the approach. I'm going to show you two videos: same song, same artist, different scenario.

Primero: Este vídeo se rodó durante varios días y está retocado y perfeccionado.

First one: This is a video filmed in several days and retouched.

Segundo: Una interpretación en vivo en los "American Music Awards 2012".
Second one: A live performance of the same artist on the American Music Awards 2012.

Esta vez vais a ser vosotros los que realicéis el análisis considerando:
 1.- Las diferencias entre la música en vivo y la grabada.
 2.- Las diferencias entre la interpretación de la danza en ambos vídeos.
 3.- ¿Cuál de los dos os gusta más y por qué motivo?
 4.- ¿Está la danza bien adaptada a la música? ¿Por qué?
This time you're the one who's going to do the analysis considering:

 1.- Differences between live music and recorded.

 2.- The same about the dance performance.

 3.- Which one do you like the most and why?

 4.- Is the dance performance well adapted to the music? Why?

Podéis centraros en cualquiera de las cuatro preguntas (especificadlo, por favor). Espero vuestras contribuciones en los comentarios. :) Como siempre, tendréis reconocimiento a vuestro trabajo.

You can focus on one of the four questions. I hope your contributions on the comments. :) As usual, your work will be appreciated as deserve.

¡Hola a todos! Aquí tenéis el reto 8. Vais a escuchar una canción, pero no os voy a pedir que averigüéis el nombre de la canción o del grupo, porque sé que todos (o la mayoría de vosotros), tenéis Shazam, la aplicación que te dice este tipo de cosas...

Hi everyone!!. Here you have the "8th Challenge". You're going to listen to a song, but I'm not asking you to find out the name of it, or the band because I know all of you (or most of you) have Shazam, the app which tells you these kind of things so....

Tenéis que escuchar la siguiente canción e investigar un poco. Escuchadla y, entonces, os diré las preguntas:

You have to listen to the next song and doing some research. Listen to it and then, I'll tell you the questions:

Como sabéis, la Música se relaciona con todo lo que ocurre en la sociedad y, a veces, refleja una situación o historia. En este caso es así. Por tanto, tenéis que decirme:

   1.- ¿Qué ocurrió que inspiró esta canción? ¿Cuál es la historia real que subyace a ésta?

   2.- ¿Cuál es la relación entre esta canción y una famosa ONG?

As you may know, Music is related to everything that happens in society and sometimes it reflects a situation or story. This is the case. So, you have to tell me:

  1.- What happened that inspired this song?. What's the true story that lies beneath?

  2.- What's the relationship between this song and a famous Non-profit organization?.  


El que responda estas dos preguntas, tendrá un punto extra en su nota este trimestre. ¡No seáis tímidos e intentadlo! Espero vuestros comentarios. :)

Whoever answers the two questions will have an extra point on their mark this trimester. Don't be shy and try!!. I'm waiting for your comments. :)

"Clocks" de Coldplay para flauta y piano

Esta va a ser una entrada cortita, para mostrar lo que mis alumnos de 2º de Bachillerato son capaces de hacer. Hoy han interpretado "Clocks", de Coldplay, tras un solo día de ensayo. He utilizado una partitura que encontré en internet y la he modificado un poco (añadiendo más voces). El resultado es lo que podéis ver. Espero que os guste.

This is a short podcast to show what my students of 2nd of Bachillerato are able to do. Today, only after one day of rehearsing, they have performed "Clocks", by Coldplay. I have used a score I found on the Internet and I had modified it a little bit. The result is what you can see. Hope you like it.

Quiero decirles a mis alumnos que estoy muy orgullosa del esfuerzo que han realizado. Sois grandes intérpretes. :)

I want to say to my students that I'm very proud of their effort. You're great performers. :)
