Bederatzi urtegaz estreinatu zan, Bostoneko orkestra filarmonikagaz eta Londreseko sinfonikagaz, bakarlari moduan.
Hamairu urtegaz Parisera joan zan bere gurasoekaz eta bertan Rossini, Gounod, Ravel eta Debussy-lako musikariak ezagutu ebazan. Franz Liszt ospetsuagaz jozeko aukera ere izan eban.
Munduko antzoki famatuenetan jo eban, New Yorken, Parisen, Berlinen, Milanen, …besteak beste, bere pianoagaz lurra zeharkatuz.
Jakitun askorentzat munduko pianojole eta konpositorerik garrantzitsuenetarikoa izan da.
