La afinación estándar del Ukelele es G, C, E, A, es decir, las cuerdas del instrumento al pulsarse de arriba abajo, sonarán con las notas Sol, Do, Mi y La. Esta afinación es la más utilizada, se la denomina afinación estándar o en do reentrante, y lo veréis escrito así: gCEA. Aunque existen otras muchas afinaciones (ver otras afinaciones), ésta será la que más utilizaremos.

Lo más curioso de esta afinación en comparación con otros instrumentos de cuerda, como el violín o la guitarra, es que la cuarta cuerda, suena más aguda que las dos siguientes, por lo que tenemos un sonido exótico, que hace del ukelele tan particular. Sencillo y práctico, para afinar de oído, pinchar en la cuerda y suena G C E o A. Hay que afinar de oído. Para parar el sonido pulsar Stop Sound.


Afinador de Ukelele Online
Afinador cromático. Este afinador es más complejo que el anterior pero tiene más opciones, se puede afinar de oído o con micrófono, aunque hay que configurar el micro del ordenador previamente. La mecánica es sencilla y permite afinar varios instrumentos como la guitarra, el violín o el Ukelele.
