As you know, in Arts we're learning about various techniques with the topic of Autumn (you can see other crafts here). In the primary classes we're discovering a Mathematics characteristic that's present in some objects: symmetry. With only half a leaf, we've made lots! And only thanks to Maths!

| 1. Descargamos e imprimimos las plantillas de aquí 1. Download and print the templates from here |

| 2. Doblamos la hoja por la línea. 2. Fold the sheet over the line. |
 |
| 3. Cortamos la hoja (¡sin desdoblarla!) por el contorno. 3. Cut through the outline (without unfolding it!). |

| 4. Separamos la hoja del molde. 4. Separate the leaf from the mould. |
 |
| 5. Ya podemos usarlo para dibujar hojas en la cartulina. 5. Now we can use it to draw leaves on the construction paper. |

Por supuesto, para no dejar de lado la música, hace unos días encontré en el fantástico blog de Carolina una idea para cantarle a las hojas del otoño (no dejéis de visitarla que tiene cosas geniales). Se trata de utilizar la melodía de la canción tradicional "London Bridge is falling down" pero con una letra sobre el otoño que diría lo siguiente:
Of course, I'm not forgetting about music. Some days ago I found an idea to sing about the Autumn leaves in Carolina's fantastic blog (don't miss it, it's great!). It's a song that uses the melody of the tradicional "London Bridge is falling down" but with the lyrics about Autumn and it goes like this:
