Hoy voy a hablar sobre la música folklórica del lugar donde vivo: Murcia (España). He estado trabajando con mis alumnos sobre este tema y han descubierto muchas cosas interesantes sobre el mismo. Algunas veces no somos conscientes de la riqueza cultural que nos rodea.
Today I'm going to talk about folk music in the place I live: Murcia (in Spain). I've been working with my students about this topic and they have discovered many interesting things about it. Sometimes we're not aware of the cultural richness around us. 




Mis alumnos han tocado una pieza llamada "Marchas de Pascua", que se incluye en el libro que publicó la Consejería de Educación de Murcia (foto de arriba) y que se puede descargar aquí: Folklore Murciano para la escuela. Aquí tenéis la interpretación:

Hoy voy a hablar sobre la música folklórica del lugar donde vivo: Murcia (España). He estado trabajando con mis alumnos sobre este tema y han descubierto muchas cosas interesantes sobre el mismo. Algunas veces no somos conscientes de la riqueza cultural que nos rodea.
Today I'm going to talk about folk music in the place I live: Murcia (in Spain). I've been working with my students about this topic and they have discovered many interesting things about it. Sometimes we're not aware of the cultural richness around us.

Tzadik Katamar (Danza israelí)

Como sabéis, creo que bailar es muy importante. Hay muchos beneficios derivados de esta actividad: se ejercita la memoria, se practica la coordinación pero, sobre todo, se crean lazos entre las personas y se pasa un rato estupendo.
As you know, I think dancing is very important. There are many benefits when you dance: you exercise your memory, you practise coordination and, the most important thing, you bond with people and you have a wonderful time.

El baile escogido en esta ocasión ha sido "Tzadik Katamar". Lo he aprendido en el blog Begodanzas y, como podéis ver, los alumnos disfrutaron mucho. Este baile israelí, como todo el folklore israelí en general, es rico y poderoso y, bailando todos juntos, nos sentimos integrados y felices.
This time, we have danced "Tzadik Katamar". I learnt it from Begodanzas and, as you can see, my students had a great time. This Israeli Dance, as well as all the Israeli Folklore, is very rich and powerful and dancing all together makes you feel integrated and happy. 





Espero que os haya gustado. Quiero dedicar esta entrada a todos los participantes en "MusiTicTac", un curso al que me habría encantado asistir pero que resultó imposible debido a las políticas educativas que no priorizan la formación de los profesores, a no ser que se hagan en su tiempo libre y con su dinero. ¡Es tan triste...! Mi reconocimiento a todos los profesores de Música que estamos luchando por la continuidad de la Música en el Sistema Educativo. A vosotros os digo: "Sí, podemos". Como siempre, no dudéis en dejar vuestros comentarios. Que tengáis un feliz "Día de la Madre" (si vivís en España) y un feliz domingo (si vivís en cualquier otra parte del mundo). :)
I hope you like it. I want to dedicate this post to all the participants in "MusiTicTac", a course which I'd have loved to go but it turned impossible because of the educational politics, which don't priorize the formation of the teachers, unless you do it in your free time and with your money. So sad... My recognition to all the Music Teachers who are fighting for the continuity of Music in the Educational System. I tell you all: "Yes, we can". As usual, don't hesitate to write your comments below. Have a nice "Mother's day" (if you live in Spain) or a happy Sunday (elsewhere). :)

Hace unos meses, gracias al blog Aula 54 , tuve la oportunidad de conseguir la partitura de "Call me maybe", lo cual fue genial. :) ¡¡Gracias!!
A few months ago, thanks to Aula 54's blog, I had the opportunity to get "Call me maybe" score, wich was great. :) Thanks!!.





Ayer, mis alumnos de 1º de Bachillerato y yo, la interpretamos con flautas dulces acompañadas del piano, y este es el resultado. Espero que os guste.
Yesterday, my students of 1st of Bachillerato and I performed it with piano and recorders and this is the result. I hope you like it.
