Hoy voy a hablar sobre la música folklórica del lugar donde vivo: Murcia (España). He estado trabajando con mis alumnos sobre este tema y han descubierto muchas cosas interesantes sobre el mismo. Algunas veces no somos conscientes de la riqueza cultural que nos rodea.
Today I'm going to talk about folk music in the place I live: Murcia (in Spain). I've been working with my students about this topic and they have discovered many interesting things about it. Sometimes we're not aware of the cultural richness around us. 




Mis alumnos han tocado una pieza llamada "Marchas de Pascua", que se incluye en el libro que publicó la Consejería de Educación de Murcia (foto de arriba) y que se puede descargar aquí: Folklore Murciano para la escuela. Aquí tenéis la interpretación:
My students have played a piece called "Marchas de pascua", which is included in a book published by the Murcian Culture Department. You can download it here: Folk Music from Murcia for School . Here you have the performance:






Creo que es muy importante, no solo conocer el folklore de otros países, sino también el nuestro. :) Espero que os haya gustado y, como siempre, podéis comentar lo que os apetezca. :)

Antes de las vacaciones de Semana Santa, mis alumnos de 1º de Bachillerato interpretaron una instrumentación Orff breve, pero interesante. No os puedo dar la partitura porque está incluída en un libro y tiene derechos de autor. Lo siento mucho. :( Ojalá fuera "Creative Commons". De todas maneras, aquí os dejo la grabación de esta "Danza Antigua":
Before Easter Holidays, my students of 1st of Bachillerato performed a brief, but interesting Orff instrumentation. I can't give you the score because it's included in a book and because of copyright. I'm very sorry :( I wish it was "creative commons". Anyway, here you have the recording of this "Old Dance":








Espero que os haya gustado. Como repaso, ¿podéis decirme los nombres de todos los instrumentos que se han usado en esta grabación?. Tenéis que indicar también, la familia a la que pertenecen. Espero vuestros comentarios, como siempre.
