Durante los últimos dos meses, los alumnos de Bachillerato han estado trabajando en la preparación de este Flashmob. Supongo que lo sabéis pero, en caso de que no, ensayar un evento como éste no va, tan solo, de preparar la coreografía. Tienes que pensar en el orden: quién empieza, quién sigue, la distribución del espacio... Es algo complicado, en cierto modo.
For the last two months we've been working on this Flashmob in 1st of Bachillerato. I suppose you know, but in case you don't, rehearsing a flashmob is not just about the coreography. You have to think about the order: who starts it, who follows, the space distribution... It's kind of complicated in a certain way...
De todos modos, creo que a todo el mundo le gustó, porque los alumnos que estaban mirando, estaban emocionados con todo lo que estaba ocurriendo. :) Todos los días me han estado diciendo que sería una gran idea tener música durante el Recreo. ¡¡Y estoy totalmente de acuerdo!! :)
Anyway, I think everyone liked it because the rest of the students were really excited about the whole thing. :) I've been told every day, that it would be a great idea to have music everyday during break time. I totally agree. :)

Escribo una breve entrada para informar de que los proyectos colaborativos en los que participamos, Flautateka y Kantaconmigo, han sido galardonados con los premios Espiral Edublogs 2012 que, para que lo entendáis, es como un óscar a los blogs educativos. En nuestro caso, nuestra categoría era "Blogs colectivos". De los tres ganadores, en dos participamos. ¿Es emocionante o no?.
Este premio es, fundamentalmente, para sus creadores, Juan y Emi pero también para todos los que hacemos posible que exista con nuestras canciones de flauta y nuestro cantar. Así que vosotros ¡también sois ganadores del premio!. ¡Enhorabuena!.
Si queréis felicitar a Juan y Emi, no dudéis en dejar un comentario en los blogs o, si os da corte, en esta misma entrada. :)

Últimamente hemos estado trabajando en la instrumentación de la famosa canción "Somebody that I used to know" de Gotye. La hice durante las vacaciones de Semana Santa. Aquí tenéis el resultado.

Muchos alumnos me habéis preguntado cuándo iba a haber otro reto. Aquí tenéis el sexto. En este trimestre estamos trabajando con editores de partituras como Musescore y Noteflight, así que os voy a dar un trozo de la canción de Jessie J, "Domino" y tenéis que escribir la música de la parte vocal.
Many students have asked me when there was going to be another "challenge". Here you have the 6th. In this semester we're working with music editors like Musescore and Noteflight so I'm going to give you a piece of Jessie J.'s songs "Domino" and you have to write the music of the vocal part.
He escogido esta canción porque no tenéis que transportar la música y es bastante sencilla. Una vez que la hayáis hecho, tendréis que incrustarla en los comentarios que aparecen abajo y, al mismo tiempo, mandármela como pdf a mi mail (si no lo tenéis, me lo podéis pedir en clase). Tiene que realizarse con estos editores que he mencionado.
I have chosen this song because you don't have to transport the music and it's quite simple. Once you have done it, you'll have to embed it in the comments below and, at the same time, send it to my mail as a pdf (those who have the score can ask my mail in the class). It has to be done with these editors.
Algunos de vosotros os podéis estar preguntando: "¿Y qué pasa si dos o más personas lo hacemos al mismo tiempo?". En ese caso, echaría un vistazo a todos y, en cada grupo, votaríamos cuál es el que más se aproxima a la canción original. De todos modos, todos los que lo hiciérais tendríais reconocimiento en la nota.
Some of you may be asking yourselves: "What would happen if I do it at the same time than other person?". In this case, I'll take a look to both of them and we'll vote in every group which one is the most accurate. Anyway, both of you will have some recognition in the marks.
Lo bueno de esto es que, una vez que esté hecho, podemos tocarla todos en el aula. ¡Todos ganamos!. Buena suerte.

Por cierto, un par de puntualizaciones. En primer lugar, es un trabajo INDIVIDUAL. En segundo, mirad las repeticiones porque, como en toda la música pop, hay muchas y os podéis ahorrar escribir mucho. Recordad, además, que podéis ir escuchando lo que escribís. Por último, si hay alguien de Bachillerato que se atreva a hacer una instrumentación, además de la parte vocal, se valoraría aparte y con algo más de un punto (pero tiene que sonar bien). El plagio será penalizado.
By the way, I want to make things clear. First of all, is an INDIVIDUAL work. Second, be careful with the repetitions. Pop music is full of them and you can save time by using the repetition signs. Remember you can listen to the music as you're writting it. For last, if someone from Bachillerato wants to do a full instrumentation, it would be valued with more than a point in the final mark (but it has to sound fine). Plagiarism will be punished.
